TITLE: Church Administrator
HOURS: Part Time Position (20 hours/week)
COMPENSATION: Salaried position; compensation commensurate with experience and subject to annual review

Handle incoming phone calls, emails, mail, and visitors.
Order supplies as necessary for all church facilities (e.g. paper/ink/stamps for the office, towels/cups for the kitchen, etc.).
Coordinate the scheduling and payments for all weddings, baptisms, funerals, rentals of the Halajian Hall, etc.
Coordinate the scheduling and payment of the janitorial staff and perform periodic inspections of their performance.
Prepare the weekly Sunday worship bulletin (typeset, print, fold, and email).
Prepare the weekly worship schedule to be projected in the church service (coordinate with pastor and worship leader for sermon slides, Bible passages, and songs).
Manage the church email list (sending out weekly emails for the upcoming Sunday’s service), social media pages, and website (upload new sermon recordings, add new events to the calendar, etc.).
Oversee the composition, editing, and distribution of the periodic church newsletter (Calvary Messenger).
Coordinate the after-church coffee hour hosting schedule.
Handle the various other administrative and business needs that arise on a regular basis from the pastor, council, committees, or congregation.
Directly report in all matters to the pastor and, upon his discretion, to the moderator of the council
Write and mail/email out thank you notes and receipts to individuals who have donated to the church.
Generate financial reports as requested for various committees and boards.
Assist the Treasurer of CACC with various accounting and financial tasks as necessary.
Provide accounting and bookkeeping assistance for the various events at CACC (i.e. the banquet, food festival, special events etc.).
Maintain general bookkeeping responsibilities and provide the necessary financial information for the preparation and maintenance of the church budget.
File various church financial documents in an organized manner.
Demonstrates a strong commitment to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in (or ability/willingness to learn quickly) QuickBooks Pro, Microsoft Office, GSuite/Gmail, website editing tools, and Church Management Software.
Possess experience in accounting/business management or bookkeeping.
General computer proficiency.
Able to work cooperatively in a team ministry environment.
Willingness to assist with other areas of the church outside the immediate job description when called upon.
Ability to type in English.
Ability to speak and type in Armenian is desirable but not required.
